DE ROSA was born in the postwar period when there was a desire to create: Cinelli was born in ’48, in ’54 Colnago.

Milan was energetic. The ideas fueling the dreams and the desire to work was at a stand between manufacturers: Ugo DE ROSA started as a mechanic but his bikes were “geometrically innovative” and runners wanted to take on DE ROSA.

Today, true to the philosophy of the early years, DE ROSA continue to work on steel, titanium, aluminum, carbon exploiting the constructive creativity of Danilo, the detailed technical nature of Dorian, the international market knowledge of Cristiano and the research and development of the Officina DE ROSA. Ugo still supervises and encourages innovation because, he states “nothing extraordinary is ever born by a formula but by imagining what does not exist and do it.”
